This coupler replaces the center differential in the Subaru 5mt, locking the transmission into front wheel drive. These custom, 4340 alloy, Sway-A-Way axles bridge the gap between the Subaru transmission and the 914 hubs. With Subaru splines on inside the axle will fit 02-04 OEM wrx 5mt DOJs (which will slide on to most any Subaru transmission). While on the outside Sway-A-Way’s signature free floating splines accept both the 914 and 944 CV joint.
